Asus ZenFone Max house a whopping 5000mah battery in a mobile device. WOW! Unbelievable to have such huge capacity battery at a low price too.
It come with a 5.5-inch display with Gorilla Glass 4, however the resolution is running on 720p which is rather low. Zenfone MAX is all about endurance so can see how 1080p would cost more and required more processing power which will shorten the battery life.
Max’s run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 a decent chipset with quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 Adreno 306 GPU. With 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage not to worries you can also expand your memory up to 128GB. It also carries dual-SIM support accompanied by LTE and 1080p video recording. On board FM Radio is present too. The ZenUI is clean and simple, there are also themes for you to download to customise your daily lifestyle note some themes require you to pay.
Although the device may sound cheap, the ZenFone MAX come with the 13mega laser autofocus camera and a 5mega wide angle front shooter with bright aperture too. The camera allow you to chose multi setting and explain to you how it work includes Depth of Field (captures photos of closeup subjects with a soft background) and Smart Remove (remove unwanted moving objects from the background) and many more. It’s pretty interesting to explore.
Asus also had added some nice features to the device. ZenMOTION allow you to on and off your touch gesture, motion guesture or even quick trigger by double tap the home button key to activate the one hand operation. When you are doing system update, the phone require at least 15% battery life to proceed. The inbuilt speaker was surprisingly loud and clear. Charging was relatively slow as the supply charger in box was at the low voltage. ZenFone MAX does come with QUICKCHARGE 2.0 standard so if you can’t wait for the long hours of charging up your huge battery hook one fast charger.
